Post by Cai on Mon Mar 17, 2008 7:13 pm

When it finally arrives, how many skydivers will the caravan take? Is it the same size as the two at langar, ie will it take 16 people?

The let 410 took 16 didnt it?

Caravan

Post by Squaddie on Mon Mar 17, 2008 10:23 pm

Hi
The Caravan will only take 14 skydivers at Headcorn. It can hold more but we are restricted by overall weight. The Nomad can take 18 but I think 15 will be max.

Squaddie cheers

Hi Tom

Can't say exactly until tommorrow, but there is probably 12 as they do try to fill a certain day up before they fill another. 12 is the maximum per course.

Hi, first post!

I've just got back today from Sebastian in Florida where i did my AFF and then another 9 solo fun jumps and a coach jump, for some reason i forgot there was a DZ down the road from me - i stay with my parents in Sutton Valence when i'm not in london at university, but then i noticed you guys on a map at AirKix a few weeks ago. I'm hoping to sort out an A license up at Weston this weekend (will make a change from the beach...the dolphins...the 27oC perfect skies Crying or Very sad ) but I'm not sure how the USPA/BPA systems mesh, though they're pretty much the same at AFF as far as i can see - I'm not sure if this is the right place to post it, but i was wondering if you guys would accept my US coaching? Also, if anyone knows if I'll run into trouble trying to get my A having started with AFF in the US?

Thanks,

Daniela

Hey guys, I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who helped out with the Static Line training and jumping yesterday and today, especially Del, Tony and Dave.

I really enjoyed it, and can't wait to get back!

By the way, i was thinking that it would be quite useful if after our first jump our exits were videod. Then we could see exactly how we needed to improve.

I guess it has been considered, and i realise that it would be hard if you had a first-timer in with some people on their 2nd or 3rd jump etc..

Thanks again everyone!

Hi Tom

Yes we have thought about videoing the exits. It depends on the instructor despatching you I will talk to you about it next time you are down.

Hi Daniela,

Come down to Headcorn and we can help you out but don't come until 3rd May as our caravan will be on line then. Also make sure you have renewed your BPA membership.

Jane

Hey Simon, thanks for the packing lesson today, I think I've got my head around it! Who was it that you handed me over to?

Also, the prices on the HPC website need to be updated with the £1 extra for fuel.

All the best,

Tom
